The delegation of teams from WAPAN and BASF west Africa went on a three day reconnaissance survey of the EOLIN campaign project (end of life insecticidal net) to Jigawa state.

On 9/06 to 11/06, The delegation of teams from WAPAN and BASF west Africa went on a three day reconnaissance survey of the EOLIN campaign project (end of life insecticidal net) to Jigawa state. Ably lead by Jean-Marc Ricca (The BASF managing Director west Africa), the WAPAN team was introduced into the project as a partner organization for the recovery of EOLIN and reverse logistics role to the various resident stakeholders which includes: state ministry of health, ministry of environment, JISEPA and PHCs in the locations of Dutse, Hadejia and ringim where the campaign is expected to kickoff.


The WAPAN team comprise of 5 team members; two technical experts (khalifa Sani as product engineer and Aliyu Auwal Aliyu as team lead)and three resident members including WAPAN jigawa state coordinator- Mr. Rabiu Suleiman Hadejia, Mr. Nura Isa – waste picker from Ringim and Mr. Mustapha Bashir also a wastepicker.
