Celebrating Our Recycling Heroes: Coca-Cola Employees Spread Holiday Cheer to Waste Pickers by Amaka Onyemelukwe
This season, The Coca-Cola Company System employees took on the role of Santa Claus for our beloved waste pickers, the unsung heroes of Nigeria’s recycling value chain. In a heartwarming gesture, both in Lagos and Abuja, we came together to recognize and celebrate these hardworking individuals who play a pivotal role in our #WorldWithoutWaste mission.
To show our appreciation for their unwavering dedication, we provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs), food packs, and beverages to our waste pickers. These gifts are a small token of our gratitude for the critical work they do every day, helping us move closer to a sustainable future.
